Prof. Dr. Brigitte Sölch
Brigitte Sölch is Chair of Architecture and Modern Art History at the Institute for European Art History at Heidelberg University. She is also co-editor of the Journal of Art History, Member of the CCSA (Center for Critical Studies in Architecture), and board member of the Association for the Promotion of the Florence Institute of Art History – Max Planck Institute. Her main research fields are history of images and architecture with reference to the (political) history of ideas, struggles for democracy, and to the contested public space.
